Like many fans, my spark was lit early. As a kid, however, it wasn’t telemetry or tire strategy — it was Pixar’s Cars. Watching Lightning McQueen carve his way through the field, flying past crashes to epic music, something clicked. Fast cars became more than machines; they became stories. That childhood fascination naturally grew into a lasting love when Formula 1 entered the picture. From then on, every race mattered. Wherever I was, if there was a race happening, you could be sure I was watching.

In 2023, life hit harder than any braking zone. A serious accident left me with a broken back and paralysis from T11 down. After emergency surgery and two additional corrective operations, the road back was long — years of rehabilitation, setbacks, and small victories measured one stint at a time.

During my time in the hospital, one thing stayed constant. Every Sunday, my dad would show up at the hospital with an HDMI cable and connect it to a small, worn television that the hospital had provided, so we could watch the race together. Because if there was one thing that couldn’t be paused, it was the Formula 1 World Championship. 

I vividly remember Fernando Alonso’s first podium with Aston Martin — a reminder that comebacks are possible. The chaos of the Melbourne Grand Prix that year also remains crystal clear — eight DNFs, red flags, and confusion. In that hospital bed, Formula 1 wasn’t just entertainment; it was motivation. Proof that resilience, patience, and belief still matter.

When I eventually got back on my feet, I realized something was missing. I loved Formula 1, but I didn’t love how it was represented in fashion and art. Too loud. Too obvious. Too much “cheap merch,” not enough design. I wanted pieces that whispered passion instead of shouting it. Pieces that only other fans would recognize — like an inside joke at 300 km/h.

So I built what I couldn’t find.

That’s how Formula Art Studios came to life.

We create clothing and wall art inspired by racing culture — thoughtfully designed pieces rooted in speed, history, and feeling. Designs that fit just as naturally in a clean, modern home as they do trackside. Apparel that feels just as right in everyday life as it does on race day.
